Hello and welcome, my name is Bruce Stewart - I’m 53 years old. This site has been created as a response to the growing number of 50+ year-old guitar students that I teach weekly – most are beginners. I refer to these learners as “late starters”.

Adult learners in their 50’s need specialised training to bring the whole subject of music into focus and to be aware that certain behavioral patterns, more pronounced in ‘mid-life’, can sabotage their playing.

With knowledge and insight, Late Starters become progressive, satisfied, recreational players adopting guitar playing as an ongoing component of their lifestyle.
